1. Mum can stop lachlan's disc only when Lachlan says so
2. Mum has to constantly place the stopper at the left hand corner. NOT the center
3. If mum scores, Lachlan gets to score 2 points too.

carrot like a rock ?
Today's lunch menu requested
Baked beans
Cos lettuce Salad
Fried egg
Carrot strips
He said, he wants to have carrots same like those he had in school.
So, i cooked the usual by boiling the carrot soft
Then
Lucas: mommy, can i don't eat the carrot
Mom: why?
Lucas: its not the same.. its not like rock
Mom: huh???!!!!!
my guess is.. rock meaning... uncooked ??
So i immediately cut some raw carrot strips
Lucas took a bite
Lucas: yes.. this is like rock.. same like those in school....

3. Flour (sifted) 35g
4. Salt 1/4 tsp
5. Butter 1 tsp
6. One Whole egg + 5 Egg yolk (i used 4 yolks only)
The portion for filling above i think can make 30tarts. I still have 40% in the fridge (after baking 12 big tarts and 12 small tarts). I'm thinking maybe just steam later for dessert...

Kids Hair Cut
Today brought the kids for a hair cut.
Lachlan started crying telling me he doesn't want a haircut before even stepping inside the saloon.
So i told him i will consider and let Lucas cut first and he agreed.
There is no problem at all for Lucas. He sat there obediently having his hair cut nicely done. At same time i explained to Lachie that nothing is to be scared. And lachie seeing his brother enjoy the haircut, he too agreed to try.
After Lucas finished, lachlan sat on the stool waiting for the hairstylist. I told the hairstylist that Lachlan (referring as 'he') doesnt need to cut too short.
The hairstylist including the girls in the saloon responded in shock
甚么，是男孩？他不是个女的吗？ Translation: " huh??.. he is a boy? isn't 'he' a girl?"
oh gosh.. that is really funny. When they knew that lachlan is actually a boy.. They all came over and touched his cheek commenting how cute he is and how much he looks like a girl
haha.. unbelievable!!!

This is my first attempt @ white rice cake and it taste good, commented by Mr. Boss and Uncle Alex.

This is the first cake i made for Mr. Boss to celebrate the father's day in Australia. The flavour is Chocolate cake of course which is Mr. Boss's favourite. Its really not easy decorating a cake without the proper/right utensil.

要不要买给他？Wanna get for him?
After preschool, we brought the kids to the mall. We stayed almost an hour in the toys shop. The kids had fun playing with the toys such as the transformers bumble bee gun.
Although the kids have not fully recovered from the cough yet, we decided to let them have their favourite meal --> Mcdonald Kids Meal. Lucas had a cheeseburger one and Lachie had 6 pc nuggets.
Lucas asked for 2 pieces of nuggets and leaving 4 pcs for lachie. We were guessing that probably Lachlan cannot finish all 6 pcs as his appetite probably not back to normal yet. Who knows.... in 10 mins, lachlan already finishing all 4 pieces and asking for more Nuggets and More Fries

Mr Boss: 他还要哦。。。怎么样？ (Lachlan wants more.. how ?)
Mommy: 他还吃的下吗？ (Can he eat more?)
Mr. Boss: 要不要买给他？ (wanna get for him?)

LUCAS: yes.. get for him ...(Nodding his head while still munching his burger)
哈哈 hahaha.....
we were really surprise because our intention of speaking mandarin so the kids won't understand what we were discussing. Really underestimated Lucas's mandarin.

Candy Tales
We went to supermarket today just to get the snakes candy that we promised the kids. When we reached there, the two kids immediately run to the aisle choosing the flavour they wanna get.
Lachlan got himself a Sour Squirms and lucas got the snakes one. Mr. Boss put the candies inside the trolley.
We continued shopping and the two boys were walking infront of their daddy. There was this lady pushing a trolley with her 3-4 yr old son inside.
When the two boys saw them especially lachlan. Lachlan quickly ran towards the trolley and picked up his candy. His daddy was puzzled wondering about his strange behaviour.
What he did was he just took his candy rush to the lady and stopped right in front of the boy with showing off expression. He didn't say anything but just looking at his expression really made us laughing inside. It is hard to describe his expression. What i can say is his expression is exactly like as if he is singing 'nah..na.. nah.. naa naa nahh' implying that he has one candy and others don't have.. haha He is such a cheeky boy.
Even the boy's mother laughed at him.

SOUR CANDY
We reached home and the kids immediately wanna eat their candy
Daddy: alright, i give you two (talking to lachlan)
Lachlan: no.. i want four
Daddy: Four !! you must finish all okay?
Lachlan: yeah... (happily answered)
**Daddy is still standing there observing Lachlan's everymove.
Lachlan took the first bite.. and his expression totally changed immediately..very sour look.. (you can imagine like as if he is eating a lemon, trust me.. its really really sour as i took a bite myself)
He struggled eating 2 and then he turned to his daddy
Lachlan: daddy.. can i have goh goh one?
haha.. His daddy knew it all along that the flavour that lachlan chose is SOUR but he didnt stop him. He said he just couldn't stop laughing at his son when he took the first bite.. haha... very funny !!!!

Kids update
Kids don't cough as much now. For myself, no cough but sore throat. Have not been sleeping well since the kids were sick.
Lachlan vomitted on bed last night. The room was smelly of course even after cleaning up. Lachlan woke up looking at us changing his bedsheet etc. Finally all things done and ready for bed, Lachlan told me: Mommy, sleep with me!!!! No choice, mommy has to sleep with the smelly boy last night.
Since coughing, they didn't eat as much as they normally do. Even for Lachie, milk portion has cut down from 10 oz at night to 5 oz only.
Today i bought something for him. His faviourite, Krispy Kreme donut.
When i reached home, he was eating popcorn.
I told him,
Mommy: Lachlan, mommy bought you a donut
Lachlan: (Immediately push away his popcorn bowl) I don't want popcorn anymore. I want donut.
and he finished the Iced Choc Donut in less than 5 minutes and asking me for more donut. haha
He really loves donut!
